Rocky's Story...
Rocky is a 9month old lab/pit mix who was found as a stray in Hopewell, Va. He had a severe eye injury that was causing cranial pressure and thus needed to be removed. Rocky under went surgery and was also neutered and came out in high spirits. He is current on all his vaccines, microchipped, and currently in training with a certified behaviorist. With loosing an eye, it makes an already confusing world that much more difficult, so Rocky is building confidence, as he goes out in public, going on walks etc. He loves to play and lives in a home with 3 other dogs. He would do best in a home with room to stretch and a backyard to run. Being a young dog, rocky needs exercise/ brain games to help keep him focused and not bored. He would do best with an experienced dog owner that can be patient with him as he learns this new world around him.

Molly's Story...
Molly was found at a local YMCA in the freezing cold. She was pulled into rescue and brought completely up to date on all her vaccines, lyme, bordetella, distemper/parvo series, lepto, hw tested and negative, on heart worm prevention sentinel, microchiped and spayed. She is really good with people and kids but still young, so she is working on her manners with jumping. She would do best with a family that is very active. Molly loves to run and is full of energy. She loves to play with toys of any kind, enjoys laying on the couch and watching the game. She is crate trained but does not like to be left alone in the backyard. She gets bored and will start to dig. Her foster mom has a swimming pool filled with sand and her favorite toys which keeps Molly very occupied with supervision. Molly is working with a behaviorist trainer to help build confidence. She was a stray for quite a while and as a puppy, so she is building up her confidence and understanding that her people will keep her safe and happy. She's super photogenic and adores belly rubs and being spoiled. Her favorite piece of clothing is a flower collar that once she has that on will prance around the house like a pretty, pretty princess ;)

Meet Maggie, a fun loving puppy who does great with all dogs and is currently living in a home with Danes. She loves to play with toys and romp around the yard with friends. Good Hoooowling Day to you lovely Folks! This is REDD here and I'd like to thank you for stopping by to read a little bit about me. I was pulled from Hopewell Animal Shelter, where my foster family saw my picture and decided right then and there that I was to be apart of the Happy Endings Animal Rescue Team Family!!!! I am so very grateful and now am on the search for my forever home; a place to rest my head, share my sweet loving eyes(which many have said I have dreamy eyes just like MATTHEW MACCONAUGHEY). I love to play inside and outside with my people. Rope toys, balls, stuffed animals, squeakers you name it, I'll play with it. I am still learning the chuck it though. I am current on all of my vaccines (bordetella, the distemper/ parvo with lepto series of vaccines, I am on heart worm prevention and flea and tick, rabies vaccine and de-wormed. I am soon headed in to be microchipped and neutered! I am still a puppy but you won't find me chewing on anything except for my toys. I love to sleep with my people *if you allow it. Biggie's Story...
Meet Biggie, our amazing 9year old Boston Terrier!!!! His owner passed away a few years ago and family ended up sticking him outside in a pen to live. Through it all he's still the most sweet and loving gentleman. He's current on all his vaccines, heart worm negative, micro chipped, neutered and on heart worm prevention and flea and tick prevention. His favorite thing is a fleece or soft blanket!!! He's good with other dogs and children.
